I don't know about you, but I am constantly having to adjust my focus and priorities in life. It is easy to get caught up in business as usual and the comforts of life in America. Even ministry can become a idol in our journey if we are not careful. As I returned from Africa and I saw the commitment and focus of the body of Christ, I was challenged to have a spiritual and physical yard sale and get rid of some excess baggage that is slowing me down.
I believe we all contend with this friction of how to be in this world and not of it. One thing that helps me focus is the question, "Does what I'm doing have to do with God, His Word and People?" These are the only things that will last forever. I'm also helped by the revelation that we are all only interns on this earth. We are all only training for what we will be doing in heaven. This does not mean we all need to go and sell everything and become missionaries in Africa. However, we have to constantly make sure we are faithful where we are planted and that Jesus is Lord over every area of out life.
Thank you so much for being such a BIG part of our lives and the harvest of people all over the world. YES, you making a difference. Let us keep contending together for the Kingdom to come and His will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

TX International Leaders Meeting
June 9-11th, 15 TX leaders and 8 future SportsNet leaders gathered in Kansas City to seek the Lord for wisdom and direction. We had an awesome time in fellowship, strategy and prayer. We have 8 TX and 60 SportsNet ministries taking ground for the Kingdom around the world. Our goal is all and every nation!
We are in the process of creating profiles for each TX ministry that can be viewed at our website. Stay tuned for more details.
New Ministry - TX Frontiers
Our vision is to take Team Xtreme into nations that are considered 3rd world countries and closed to traditional evangelism efforts. Our first TX Frontiers trip was to Mozambique, Africa. Read the article below for more details.
New Ministry - TX Teaching
Our vision with TX Teaching is to use media and technology to develop discipleship courses that can reach leaders around the world. We were able to purchase a Mac Pro computer and started editing our teaching videos for our web page.
SportsNet International Leaders Meeting
July 8-10th, the 7 Regional YWAM SportsNet directors came together in Santa Cruz, California. The continents of Africa, Australia, North America and South America were represented - our Asian Director was unable to attend. Strategies were set for developing additional teams and using sports ministries to further the Gospel in every nation. Below is a group photo taken during a surfing break.

TX Frontiers in Mozambique, Africa
|
|

These Christian ladies brought pots and cooked us meals each day over and open fire.
June 16-30th TX Frontiers had a great God adventure in Mozambique, Africa. In a ten day period we were able to complete a pastor's conference, do ministry to 400 orphanage kids and then take the gospel out into the jungle.
While we were in the jungle, we killed a poisonous snake in our camp, prayed against witch doctors and preached the gospel to a few thousand people. We had a great response to God's Power and Word!
