YWAM mission statement is to Know God and Make Him Known. The statement is at the core of everything YWAM does. The purpose of YWAM is to shape young people, to renew their minds and their world view. This redeemed world view, will motivate them, and will eventually activate them and effect every choice they will make. Basically this transformation that takes place, is to get us thinking like God not a humanistic programmed robot.

I say all that to say this. So often as long tern YWAMers, we are so programmed to follow the mission statement, our code of honor, we forget, the beautiful and simple truth that GOD KNOWS US. Because most of us do not really like ourselves, we often don't think about what God thinks about us. Most of the time we come to God to seek direction, ask Him for a need, or confess a sin. If we were to write down our prayers and thoughts, we would realize most of our dialog with the Father is on this station. I want to challenge you this week to camp out for a while on this thought.....GOD KNOWS ME..... Ask Him what he thinks of you, ask Him what he likes about you. Some cool scriptures me mediate on are: Gen 1: 27-31, Ps 91, Song of Songs.

PS.....the Lord is crazy about you, even in your weakness...............in order to stay strong in the Lord we need to come to the wonderful place of God's thoughts about me.
