Kingdoms Series #4

I don't know about you, but I am constantly having to ajust my focus and priorities in life. It is easy to get caught up in business as usual and the comforts of our life in America. Even ministry can become a idol in our journey if we are not careful.

As I returned from Africa and I saw the commitment and focus of the body of Christ, and I was challenged to have a spiritual and physical yard sale and get rid of some excess baggage that is slowing me down. I believe we all contend with this friction of how to be in this world and not of it. One thing that helps me focus, is the question, is what I am doing, has to do with God, His Word, and People. These are the only thing that is going to last forever. Also, the revelation that we are all only interns on this earth, we are all only training for what we will be doing in heaven. This does not mean we all need to go and sell everything, and become missionaries in Africa. However, we do have to constantly make sure we are faithful where we are planted, and Jesus is Lord over every area of out life. Faithful friends continue to press on and up. Be encouraged, your Father in heaven is with you. Continue to make ajustments in your life as the Lord leads.
